So I got home for Thanksgiving this afternoon and I'm glad to be here. I wish I could have a longer break, but I'll take what I can get. At least I get a month off for Christmas withou any worry of homework and classes. So I'll be super excited when all of that comes around. But I'm still totally stoked to be home. I can get some
real food without having to pay for it! And I can sleep in a real bed! And maybe I can get a little homework done...yeah.
I hope everyone else has a Happy Thanksgiving!
In other news...So I went and saw New Moon with my roomie and best friend ~
AidienWings. Now I am by no shake of the stick a Twilight fan. I barely made it through the first book without feeling the need to do something highly intelligent. But I did find its ridiculous drama and lack of depth when it came to plot and characters rather humorous, especially in the movie since it was trying SO hard to be serious. I was disappointed to find that New Moon wasn't very funny, even despite it's attempts at being serious. It was very badly directed, it had bad special effects, and the acting was terrible too! Even worse than the first one. And what was up with all the close-up-over-the-opposite-person's-shoulder shots. Half of the movie was made up of these scenes and it was really annoying! It just added all the more to the agitating, awkwardly tense drama. Also...I really don't understand what makes Edward Cullen so attractive. (Robert Patterson it a hottie yes, but not the Cullen dude.) He's so pale he looks sick (which is a vampire thing, I know, but I've never been a fan of vampires either) and he cosistently appears constipated. And he's so mushy, lovey, serious...all the time. I don't really go for either 'team' but at least Jacob's a slightly more realistic character.
I dunno. *sigh* Sorry for complaining, I just needed to.
I don't guess I have anything else to say. Once again have a Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
